“Living with hearing loss has connected me to the invisible disability community and taught me that strength often exists in ways the world doesn’t immediately see.”
As a first-year dental student at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a 2025 Chemistry graduate of St. Olaf College, education has always been central to who I am — it’s where I’ve learned the power of curiosity, resilience, and connection. Running, for me, mirrors that same journey. It’s how I move, decompress, and build community beyond the classroom. Living with hearing loss has connected me to the invisible disability community and taught me that strength often exists in ways the world doesn’t immediately see. I’m so proud to run for the Bionic Project, an organization that hosts K-12 interactive programs that connect disability awareness, sports, and education. By supporting this project, you’re helping dismantle disability bias and move us toward a world where inclusion is something everyone can live, feel, and share.
